Team Epic was one of the two teams in the first season of Inanimate Insanity, the other being Team Chickenleg. The team originally consisted of team captain Lightbulb, and the other members, Nickel, Knife, Paintbrush, Baseball, Marshmallow, and Paper (before season 1 episode 10) with the addition of Apple, who joined mid-way through the season. Lightbulb came up with the idea for the name when she said that since her team was so epic, they should be called Team Epic. Lightbulb is also the team captain of The Bright Lights on Inanimate Insanity II. They are the 'inferior' team of the first season.
