Team Epic is one of the two teams in the first season of Inanimate Insanity, the other being Team Chickenleg. The team originally consisted of Lightbulb (the captain), Nickel, Knife, Paintbrush, Baseball, Marshmallow, Paper (before Double Digit Desert), and Apple, who joined mid-way through the season. Lightbulb came up with the idea for the name when she said that since her team was so epic, they should be called Team Epic. She is also the team captain of The Bright Lights on Inanimate Insanity II. They are the "inferior" team in the first season.

Trivia

• The Bright Lights might’ve been called Team Epic again if Marshmallow hadn’t stopped Lightbulb from finishing her sentence.
• Team Epic was called Team Not-So-Epic by MePhone4.
• Team Epic shares a similarity to Team Victory in Total Drama World Tour because both teams have words for their names that lead to victory but lose a lot. They also have a similarity to the Toxic Rats in Total Drama Revenge of the Island since both teams lose a lot of members along with Team Victory (4 for Team Epic, 5 for Team Victory and 6 for the Toxic Rats) in a row.
• Paper was the only contestant on this team to not compete in season 2.
  • Balloon is in the opposite situation because he was the only member of Team Chickenleg to compete in Season 2.
• This is the only team (until The New Thinkers) where Nickel competed on without Balloon.
