Appearances[]

Yin-Yang was entered in a T-shirt contest by BFDIdubita23, along with Rubber Ball, Banana, and Guitar. Yin-Yang won, with over 300 votes with the prize being a spot in the Season 2 cast. BFDIdubita23 ended up voicing him as well.

Inanimate Insanity II[]

"Breaking the Ice"[]

Yin-Yang had only 2 sentences said from each of his personalities. They argue over which direction they should go, then say they hate each other, and then they bump Soap off and fall off as well. In the dodgeball competition, he didn't get anyone out. He still made it to the final 6 of his team. However, Microphone eliminated him from the contest, along with everyone still in, so he was up for elimination.

"Marsh on Mars"[]

At elimination, Yin is sorry for the trouble caused, Yang however is not, Yang got mad when both are declared safe, unlike Yin. Later, Yin volunteers to go and Yang gets in the way, when Paintbrush slaps the two, Yang cries out annoyed. Once on Mars, Yang is happy when Apple's convinced they are too late, it is revealed that the egg wasn't Marshmallow and that Team Bright Lights was up for elimination once again.

"Tri Your Best"[]

Yin-Yang is separated!

Yin-Yang is first seen at the start of the episode both arguing on whether to get "Water" or "Dr. Fizz". After moments of tampering with the machine they eventually get sucked in and land in Test Tube's lab. Test Tube asks them how they got in her lab. Yang insults Test Tube calling her a "stupid scientist". Later Test Tube gives Yin-Yang a potion which separates them from each other, making out the characters Yin and Yang. Afterwards, Yang breaks stuff in Test Tube's lab, despite Test Tube's rules. He then blasts out of the roof, and escapes.

Yin and Yang are chosen to compete in the cycling leg of the triathlon by Lightbulb. Yang throws Yin at Knife, which causes him to fall off the bike and break his leg. At the end of the episode, Yin asks Test Tube to put them back together, due to Yang not being able to control his anger on his own. Yin drinks Test Tube's antidote without a fuss, but Yang refuses. Knife takes revenge on Yang for breaking his leg by force-feeding Yang the antidote. Yin and Yang revert back to their combined form, and are safe from elimination for the first time.

"Cooking for the Grater Good"[]

Yin-Yang initially laughs at Knife and his Dora Doll, but Baseball's speech stopped the laughing. During the challenge, Yang took and ate the first Pizza, even though the next one provided another victory for the Bright Lights.

Yin-Yang's End.

"A Kick in the Right Direction"[]

Yin-Yang was not seen until midway through the episode, in the background when Microphone was complaining about being goalie. Next, he was seen cheering (and also jeering) with the other members on his team when Microphone was scored on. Later, Yang decided to score on his team, twice, costing his team the game. His last appearance was after the Grand Slams won Dough for their team, when Yin-Yang ate him. Yin blamed Yang for this, but later confessed he ate Dough, as he was starving. His team was up for elimination.

"Let 'Er R.I.P."[]

Yin-Yang was first seen at elimination, with Yang trying to attack MePhone4 for calling him annoying, only to be blocked by Toilet. He was revealed to be eliminated, with 1,859 votes, which makes Yang happy. Yin tries to apologize for what Yang has done, but Yang says he's not, causing the two to fight. After a while, the two tumble into the Rejection Portal, ending their career in the game. Trophy's record is still not broken, although it is in the next episode.

"Everything's A-OJ"[]

Yin-Yang falls out of the closet with the rest of the eliminated contestants. They appears alongside the other eliminated contestants for the rest of the episode, and have no lines.

Inanimate Insanity Invitational[]

"Stranded In Paradise"[]

Yin-Yang and the other returning contestants are on a boat, believing they are going to see Spoiled Lemon live. Yin-Yang is seen fishing. When Test Tube asks about it, Yang rudely dismisses her, telling her they're not fishing for friends. Yin then tells Test Tube that they're fishing for their ticket, Yang yelling that it's in the water because he threw it in there. Yin-Yang then finishes reeling the fishing rod, revealing that Box was hooked on it. When the contestants try to figure out who bought everyone the Spoiled Lemon tickets, Yang agrees to being a fan of the band, but then clarifies he did not get them, as he is not nice.

Some time later, a (second) big thud is felt by everyone, coming from the inside of the boat. Paintbrush assumed the first thud was Yin-Yang, in which Yang tells them to give him more credit; he's quite gentle. Yin, annoyed, tells him to "spare us".

When the boat crashes and everyone is stranded on an island, everyone soon begins to argue, and Yin-Yang can be heard screaming "Water! Dr. Fizz!" alternatively and argumentatively.

MePhone4 sets off paint bombs attached to everyone, and Yin-Yang is splattered with a yellow paint bomb, joining the Yellow Team with OJ, Paintbrush, Silver Spoon, Candle, and The Floor.

The first challenge is to dive off of a cliff into a pipe, and OJ and Paintbrush are discussing developing a strategy whilst twirling. Impatient, Yang calls them dumb idiots, telling them just to jump, and saying goodbye as he kicks them both off the cliff. Yin-Yang then jumps off after them. The three of them successfully make it through the pipe. Yang then states in the Calm Down Cabana that he does not appreciate indecision, which Yin glares at him for.

"The Shame of the Name"[]

At Boaty's funeral at the beginning of the episode, Yin-Yang, more specifically Yang, does a speech. Yang, reading from a sheet of paper and clearing his throat, states that he did not like the boat, but the boat's explosion was his favorite part. In excitement about explosions, he throws the paper away. He ends his speech saying he wishes Boaty exploded more, then thanks the audience and leaves the podium.

The challenge is for each team to come up with a new name. When Yin-Yang's team hears that the Blue Team will be called The Sinkers, Paintbrush proposes coming up with a one-up to their name, and Yang yells out the idea to name the team "The Drinkers" because they apparently only drink Dr. Fizz. Unamused, Yin looks away from Yang, who was expecting Yin to retaliate. Yin simply responds that he's not giving in to the argument again, and adds that he's sure everyone thinks that's a dumb name. The Floor agrees with Yin, and Yang snaps that that wasn't nice. Silver Spoon agrees with The Floor, calling The Floor "beneath him", to which Yang retorts with "No, above me!" and kicks Silver Spoon high up into the air. Yin-Yang pauses suddenly when Candle strikes her crystal. Candle then gets the team to sit down in a circle. When she asks the team members to think of each other, and asks what their thoughts may be, Yang says they're stupid. Yin tells Yang to hush, then the both of them are silenced again by Candle striking her crystal. OJ ends up announcing the name The Thinkers to the team, which everyone likes, including Yin-Yang.

"Snapshot Showdown"[]

When the challenge to take embarrassing photos of other teams begins, Yin-Yang is seen racing for the cameras against others, crashing into the shelf with Nickel. Yin-Yang manages to take a photo of Bot and Goo while they try to flee, but unfortunately, the photo is blurry. Yang states that the photo being out of focus is the only embarrassing thing about it, to which Yin retorts that it would help if he kept their hands steadier. Yang then announces, "Time for an earthquake!" and evilly laughs as he rapidly waves both hands around.

Later on at night, Yin runs over to his team to warn them that The Pinkers made plans to target them. The Pinkers and The Thinkers proceed to duke it out that night, and Yin admits in the Calm Down Cabana that the pictures taken that night were not anyone's best work.

When the challenge ends, The Sinkers submit a photo of Silver Spoon slipping on a banana peel, and when Silver Spoon proudly admits the photo is humiliating, Yin asks him not to. When Silver Spoon affirms that it is, Yin-Yang shuts him up.

"The Overthinkers"[]

The Thinkers lose for the first time, and MePhone4 through text-to-speech introduces the team to the elimination button. Yang yells that he'll press it, but Candle strikes her crystal to stop him. Candle soon after helps Yin-Yang up. When OJ and Paintbrush discuss who to eliminate, Yang thinks in the Calm-Down Cabana that they are plotting. He adds that they don't want them in their team leader club because they're not nearly as tall as them, and Yin states that Yang's jealous. Yang then yells, "abolish all the leaders!" OJ offers for Yin-Yang to press the button, and they run to it excitedly, but Paintbrush stops them.

Whilst discussing eliminating the vote, OJ asks when Paintbrush expected to get any privacy on a reality show. Yin replies he never expects privacy, as Yang never knocks before entering his mental bedroom. Yang then makes fun of Yin, telling everyone he has a brain diary, and calling him a loser who writes. Candle suggests Yin-Yang embrace each other by taking part in one another's interests. Yang agrees reluctantly, but states that if he writes about his feelings, Yin has to sing A Party, which is apparently his favorite activity. Yin points out that Yang doesn't like singing, but Candle tells Yin that connection is a two-way street, and Yin reluctantly agrees, singing the song for the rest of that meeting.

When the team discusses Silver Spoon leaving, Paintbrush points out to OJ that he already won a season. Yang does a spit take, shocked, and Yin asks him where he thinks his hotel came from. Yang then snaps at Yin, telling him not to make him look dumb, and that he'll regret it. Yang then arranges a meeting to discuss Yin's elimination. Yang declares that, if the button is pressed, he promises he'll vote for Yin. Yin reminds him that he'll lose too, which angers him, as he slams an empty Dr. Fizz can on the table. Candle and Silver Spoon leave, and Yang states he's come up with the perfect new alliance. Yin tells the team he wants to start a boys' club. Paintbrush points out to him that they're nonbinary, and Yang corrects himself, meaning anti-girl club. OJ states that he's heard enough, which angers Yang.

MePhone communicates through text-to-speech again, warning the team that they have 10 minutes to press the button before MePhone randomly selects someone to eliminate. When MePhone is done talking, OJ notices that the elimination button has been buried in a mountain of Dr. Fizz cans by Yang, who laughs evilly.

When the team concludes the meetings and Candle and Silver Spoon return, Yin-Yang hands OJ a note. Reading it, it's a greeting from Yin, notifying that his client, "Supreme Overlord Ruler Yang" would like permission to press the button. OJ tells him yes, frantically, and that they have ten seconds left. Yang laughs in evil satisfaction, and happily slams the button.

Yin-Yang receives the viewer immunity vote, much to the team's surprise. It is then revealed that Yin-Yang received three votes and would have been eliminated, but all of his votes were null and void. OJ is eliminated as a result, and Paintbrush declares after the elimination that the team doesn't need a leader. Yang excitedly shouts that the team destroyed the government. Candle proposes that the team ease the day out with a group cheer, which Yang reluctantly tells Yin to do. Helping pull everyone in, Yin yells, "think big!" and all the Thinkers chant, "Thinkers forever!"

"Tragedy at 60 Feet"[]

The challenge is to build a safety contraption meant to protect an egg from a 60 foot cliff drop. The Thinkers decide to maximize their collaboration by each building one side of a cubic contraption. Upon showing the finished contraption, Yang calls it "dumb garbage", and says it barely holds together. The egg falls through the contraption, due to it only having 5 sides, and breaks on the ground. Silver Spoon creates a new plan and intends to utilize Yin's "egg-shaped physique."

When Box is injured, Yin gets confused on what's going on, as he and Yang are half buried. Silver Spoon addresses Yin-Yang as "egg" telling them that they don't want to see what's going on, and Yin happily affirms that he's an egg. MePhone4 calls for an on-site doctor, and Dr. Fizz appears. Yang immediately starts bowing to him, chanting his name, calling him "Your Bubbliness", stating that he's not worthy, and blessing Dr. Fizz's soul.

"Try Not To Laugh Challenge"[]

Yin-Yang, along with most of the other contestants, is laughing at an apparently funny note on a sheet of paper. Infuriated, MePhone4 scraps the Yummy Treat Tasting challenge, causing Yin-Yang to be teary-eyed and saddened. Each team is assigned 2 "citizens" who cannot laugh and 1 "nuisance" who tries to make the other teams' citizens laugh, and Yin-Yang is selected to be one of the citizens for The Thinkers.

Nickel addresses Yang, and Yin tells him that if he wants to address one of them, then he'll have to address... Yin clears his throat, and Yang finishes the sentence with "both of us." Yang then exclaims that they are balanced, and that they are unstoppable. Nickel then calls Yin a "scrawny little pudding boy", almost making Yang laugh, but both are distracted by Candle bursting out in laughter. This takes her out of the challenge, and she tells Yin-Yang that now it's up to them. Yin comments that Candle must have really trusted them to keep it together, and Nickel remarks that she must've been dumber than he thought. Yin snaps at Nickel, asking him if he thinks he's cool for saying that. Angrily, Yin yells that Nickel only said that because he's sad. Yang then calls him a "dumb sad dumb guy" causing the other contestants to "ooooh" at them for the drama. Nickel then brings up the fact that Yin-Yang's entire team voted for them during their team's elimination, upsetting Yin-Yang.

Later on, Bot brings a plate of spaghetti in front of Yin-Yang, which Yang states Yin is notorious for finding funny. Yin stifles in a laugh, but Silver Spoon yells at them, telling them that Candle left them to the challenge for a reason, and asking them which one is stepping in and which is stepping back. Calling for "Mindful Positioning" Yin tells Yang to take the wheel. Yang takes full control of the body, including the face, exclaiming, I, Yang! Finally in charge!" He tells Bot that their "spaggers" affects him little. Bot them brings up the "pudding boy", and Yang almost laughs, but then Yin takes full control of the body. He winks at Bot, saying that Yang would find that funny, but the pudding boy doesn't.

The Thinkers end up surviving the challenge. When Silver Spoon designates himself as the team's royal advisor, Yin-Yang cheers with the rest of the Thinkers except Paintbrush.

"Best Served Cold"[]

Yin-Yang walks in when MePhone4 rearranges the letters on Candle's "Aura Readings" sign. He announces he is going to disarrange the teams, prompting everyone to scream with an extra letter A, and Yin-Yang screams with all of the other contestants.

Yin-Yang stays on their team, now The New Thinkers, and is on the team with Candle, Clover, Nickel, Goo, and The Floor. Yang mischievously laughs, exclaiming that this is fun, having observed that his team has more "shorties."

When MePhone complains that he's hungry, several contestants guess what he's hungry for, and Yin and Yang argue against each other on water vs. Dr Fizz. Clover guesses mile high pie, causing everyone to gasp and causing Yin-Yang to fall backwards in shock. MePhone then decides that the challenge is to stack him an accurately sized mile high pie.

Goo starts the challenge leading his team in a group cheer, and Yin-Yang, alongside everyone else except Nickel, cheers "Hooray!" with him.

Later on in the challenge, Candle compliments and encourages Yin-Yang's coordination in stacking the ice cream in a chocolate-vanilla pattern. They are then shown stacking the ice cream rather efficiently, and synchronizing their chocolate and vanilla pattern perfectly with Candle's speech. As it turns out, however, Yin-Yang stacked the pie to be two miles high, which is way too high.

"Out of Body Experience"[]

All of the contestants except Nickel pose under one of the pillars of a bridge MePhone4 built, posing for a promotional photo. When the camera snaps a picture, Yin can be seen blanking, and both Yang and Yin admit to this. Yin asks if they can take the photo again, and Yang says he wouldn't go that far, but Test Tube gets the camera to start counting down for another picture. Before it flashes, however, the pillar begins to fall on all of the contestants. It ends up killing underneath it except Bot, including Yin-Yang.

When MePhone4 recovers all of the dead contestants at once, they end up swapping bodies with each other. Yin and Yang swap with each other, becoming the other half, though nobody else notices at first.

In the second half of the episode, The Floor suggests Clover might be able to equally distribute her luck, which Yin-Yang considers.

Nickel mentions there's no real body swaps left for the last round, but Yin asks what he means, bringing up himself and Yang. Yang then explains that he and Yin swapped with each other, and when Nickel points out that the others can't even tell, Yin assures him that he and Yang can. Yang points out that Yin is now the darker half, and he's the lighter half, saying it feels so wrong. Yin adds that it also feels so right, like they were meant to be this way in the first place, referencing the fact that the original Yin-Yang symbol has reversed good and evil sides to Yin and Yang.

MePhone decides to put them in the final matchup in the challenge against Bot, who he asked to pretend to be body swapped. Bot complains about being unable to balance, and Yang retorts to not get him started on balance. He asks Yin how he moves his "stupid" leg, and Yin answers with uncertainty that it's always been a struggle. Surprised, Yang states he never knew Yin's leg felt that way, and Yin responds that there's a lot that Yang doesn't know about him, over on the right side. Astonished, Yang promises he'll treat Yin better, now that he knows how the other half lives. Yin and Yang pat each other on their head. Bot runs off the bridge, asking for a time out after having a panic attack. MePhone expires the timeout some time later, and Yin-Yang is seen impatiently waiting before they zoom to the golden center and win their matchup. Yin waves his arms around and cheers, saying that it's "such a satisfying ending."

Yang rudely gets MePhone's attention, demanding to know where his and Yin's confetti is. MePhone tells him that his team still lost 3 to 2 in the matchups, so The New Thinkers are up for elimination. Yang responds that Yin and him had a personal victory, and that is worth celebrating. Soon after, Silver Spoon accidentally kills all of the swapped contestants with a giant lit match. MePhone is then able to recover everybody one at a time, putting them back in their own bodies.

At the elimination, Yin-Yang wins viewer voted immunity. Regardless, everyone on the team unanimously votes to eliminate Clover, as they all felt guilty about how Clover's luck in the game was affecting her.

"Title TBD"[]

The challenge is to create a cartoon, woth each team needing to fulfill five roles in the creation process. One of these roles is the producer, who is responsible for fundraising a budget for the Animation Machine to animate the project. Yang states that he produces chaos nearly every day, so he gladly concludes that the producer role is more than appropriate for him. Yin, anticipating Yang's chaos, speculates that they have some old stuff they can sell.

Turning on a camera and broadcasting live, Yin-Yang is seen attempting to auction the bike they used in Tri Your Best. Yin describes it as used, rusty, dirty, beaten up to a pulp, and Yang interrupts him, claiming the bike is brand new and straight out of the box. Yang claims the starting bid is ten million dollars, and shouts "going once!" pretending that someone has already placed a bid on the bike. Disappointed that Yang has already started lying, Yin turns off the camera, telling Yang he's not helping him commit fraud again. Yang asserts that he would treat Yin better, but not anyone else. Yang turns the camera on again, continuing to lie about auctioning off the bike, and Yin covers his mouth. Yin then states that he knows the bike has history to them, but it has little true value. Yang argues that history is value, and as an example, he asks Yin if he remembers his favorite stuffed dinosaur, Riggity Rex. Yin regretfully responds that not a night goes by that he doesn't think of Rex, disappointed that he lost him. Yang reveals to Yin that he didn't lose him; Yang burned him. Yang misheiviously laughs as he describes the toy having exploded, adding, "BIG KABOOM!" Yin replies "WHAT?!" in anger and shock.

Nickel asks Candle to help Yin-Yang raise more money. When he goes to check on them, Yin happily exclaims that they're making "so much" money, whilst Yang laughs after him. It is revealed that Candle's Inner Flame is advertising its power to viewers, telekinetically spinning several half-eaten foods and Yin-Yang in circles. Yang promises that if they reach twenty thousand in donations, Candle will spin around in the air "like a magic fairy."
